Privacy and data
What this site knows about you.
How you sign in
You sign in with a personal access code, not an account. There is no password to set and no profile to fill out. Some program forms may ask for contact details, like the email address you registered with, when we need them to run the program; anything you enter stays inside the platform and is visible only to the program team.
What we store
To run the program and count your progress toward the certificate, this site stores: the name you enter when you first sign in, which project you belong to, your module reflections, your answers on program forms (like session feedback and team records), and your activity on the site: sign-ins, pages you visit, and resources or opportunities you open. We use that activity only to see how the program is being used and to make it better. All of it is visible only to the Global Youth Action Fund program team at the International Baccalaureate (IB), is used only to run and improve the program, and is deleted when the program cycle ends.
What we do not do
No advertising, no third-party trackers, and no cookies beyond the one that keeps you signed in. The activity measurement above is built into this site and stays inside it; nothing about you is sent to or shared with anyone outside the program team. Forms you fill here stay here too.
The directory
The cohort directory shows the project profiles that awardees submitted with their applications, including project names, photos, and public links. It sits behind the access-code gate, so only people in the program can see it. If you want something changed or removed from your project's profile, write to ziyaan.virji@ibo.org.
Questions
Anything unclear, or a request about your data, goes to ziyaan.virji@ibo.org and the program team will sort it out.
